Sustainability Policy 

 

The Blend Agency Limited recognizes that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond Digital Design Development and Services. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods.

 

This policy relates to the services and operations within The Blend Agency Limited company and across our supply chain and will be continually reviewed and improved so that we can integrate environmental and social considerations into our everyday practices and make a positive contribution to society. 

 

Responsibility

Nicole Brown, Chief Financial and HR Officer is responsible for ensuring that this environmental policy is implemented however all employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of this policy are met.

We endeavor to:

We will:

· comply with all laws governing the environment.

· minimize the use of paper in the office

· committed to a greener office space renting a Hybrid workspace with the flexibility to scale up or down as required.

· manage email data storage to reduce energy

· promote sustainability information sharing

· practice sustainable banking operations and adopt energy-saving technologies

· strive to better understand both the direct and indirect impact that our practices may have on the environment.

· minimize or offset our impact on the environment.

· work towards the conservation of energy, water, and resources in all our operations.

· monitor energy and water consumption during the course of business

· switch off lights and electrical equipment when not in use.

· reduce waste and dispose of waste thoughtfully, and follow the waste hierarchy of ‘Avoid, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

· lessen our environmental impact by purchasing environmentally-friendly products and services.

· take steps to continually improve environmental performance.

· reduce the need for business travel, restricting to necessity trips only

· promote the use of travel! alternatives such as e-mail or video/phone conferencing.

· protect and support biodiversity.

· conduct audits, evaluations, and self-assessments of the implementation of this policy.

· work with our entire supply chain in order to gain mutual benefits of incorporating environmentally sustainable goals into everyday business.

· reduce operating costs through improved resource management eg, water, waste, energy, carbon, and employee engagement.  

· manage the risk of operational disruptions e.g. resource scarcity, climate change impact, or community risks. 

· reduce reputation risks and communicate actions.
